Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for an outpatient clinic in Minnesota. You will perform diagnostic imaging under a provider or radiologist, ensure patient safety, and maintain documentation and workflow.

The role requires ARRT registration and BLS certification within 30 days of hire, with potential for DEXA scanning and cross-site coverage including mileage reimbursement. 0.7 FTE, no weekends, benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT-registered technologist required; must be registered upon hire
• Current BLS certification (AHA, Red Cross, or Allina in-house) within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients and manages patient flow
• Performs procedures with accuracy per physician orders and department guidelines
• Documents all aspects of the procedure
• Observes and communicates with patients and responds to needs
• Maintains safe patient environment in procedure area
• May perform DEXA scans
• Gathers information to aid interpretation of images
• Verifies imaging transferred to storage and retrieval system
• Uses Excellian EMR and Enterprise Imaging/PACS systems
• Stocks necessary radiological supplies
• Communicates with supervisor and team
• Performs other duties as assigned
