Job summary

Allina Health in Woodbury, MN is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a radiologist in an outpatient clinic setting. You will ensure patient comfort, proper positioning, and accurate documentation while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT registration, with a starting bonus of $7,500 for eligible external talent.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Registered Technologist required upon hire.
• Current or eligible BLS certification may be required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical and diagnostic imaging functions under the direction of a provider or radiologist.
• Rooms patients and manage patient flow.
• Identifies patient with two identifiers.
• Documents all needed aspects of the procedure.
• Observes and communicates with patient, responding to needs.
• Maintains safe patient environment in procedure area.
• May performs dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scans.
• Gathers all relevant information to assist in interpretation of images.
• Verifies all imaging has appropriately transferred to imaging storage and retrieval system.
• Stocks necessary medical and radiological supplies.
• Communicates with supervisor and team.
• Other duties as assigned.
