Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in an inpatient setting under radiologist supervision. You will ensure patient safety, operate imaging equipment, and document procedures accurately while cooperating with the care team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT registration upon hire and a current BLS certification. 0–2 years in radiology preferred, with a 0.8 FTE schedule and day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration required upon hire.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) or in-house training within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Completes procedures per physician orders and department guidelines.
• Identifies patient with two identifiers and documents all aspects of the procedure.
• Communicates with patient to explain steps and respond to questions.
• Maintains safe patient environment in the procedure area.
• Verifies imaging transferred to imaging storage/retrieval system.
• Performs accurate clerical functions using Excellian EMR.
• Communicates with supervisor and team; reports problems or ideas.
• Other duties as assigned.
