Job summary

Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray, CT, and MRI imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will position patients, operate radiographic equipment, and collaborate with radiologists to obtain diagnostic images.

The role requires a Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT registration within 180 days, with 0–1 year experience preferred. Onsite work at 243-245 Charles Street with a day shift and benefits outlined by Mass General

Qualifications

• Must effectively use interpersonal skills with patients and staff under stress.
• Excellent attention to detail in image capture, processing and documentation.
• Able to read/write English and understand medical terminology.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and radiation physics.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures: X-rays, CT, MRI as ordered.
• Prepare and position patients, ensure comfort and safety.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings for optimal quality.
• Maintain and review image quality, positioning, and exposure; troubleshoot issues.
