Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging across fluoroscopic, portable, and other radiographic equipment.

You will work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring safe, accurate images and proper labeling for PACS transmission. The role requires ARRT registration within 180 days and a MA state license, with a minimum physical requirement to lift 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• MA Radiologic Technologist license required
• ARRT registration required within 180 days of hire
• Excellent attention to detail and communication in English
• Must be physically able to lift 40 lbs and assist patients
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and adapt to department needs

Responsibilities

• Confirms patient and exam selection via patient interview and history; documents appropriately.
• Explains the exam to patients considering language and emotional needs.
• Adjusts imaging equipment to correct settings for safe, diagnostic images.
• Performs imaging per department protocol and Radiologist instructions.
• Ensures correct labeling of exams prior to transmission to PACS and confirms successful PACS delivery.
