Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Radiologic Technologist at Bellevue Medical Center. This full-time position (0.9 FTE, 36 hours/week) includes First Shift (3-12s) with benefits and competitive pay. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

The role involves performing diagnostic imaging and delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced radiology department. Eligible candidates must be licensed, ARRT certified, and BLS certified with JRCERT training.

Qualifications

• JRCERT accredited program in radiology is required.
• ARRT certification and ability to obtain ARRT certification within one year of hire.
• Current Nebraska license as Radiology Technologist is required.
• BLS certification from an AHA-endorsed program required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The Radiologic Technologist will provide expert diagnostic radiological imaging and patient care to ensure high-quality care for patients, physicians and customers.

Radiologic Technologist Description

The Radiology Technologist will provide expert diagnostic radiological imaging and patient care to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, physicians and customers in and outside the radiology department.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in radiology required.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or ability to obtain ARRT certification, in all practice specialty areas, within one year of hire or transfer date required.
• Currently licensed in the state of Nebraska as a Radiology Technologist required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later) required within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in diagnostic radiology procedures preferred.
• Ability to manage and interact with patients and families of all age groups preferred.
• Ability to work at a fast pace preferred.
• Experience with multi-dimensional medical imaging systems, patient transportation devices, and radiology information system and Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) preferred.
