Serenity Med Search is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Lexington, Nebraska, offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus. In this role, you will provide expert diagnostic radiological imaging and ensure quality patient care under the direction of the Director of Radiology.
The ideal candidate must graduate from an AMA approved program and hold current ARRT registration. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities and requires operating complex radiographic equipment.
Under the direction of the Director of Radiology, performs interpretive patient care and technical functions to ensure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients. Provides expert diagnostic radiological imaging/mammography procedures to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, physicians, and customers in and outside of the Radiology Department.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach and bend; use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 35 pounds; must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; must occasionally push, pull and assist with lifting up to 300 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program. Proficient with the principles and practices of Radiation Technology as outlined by the State of Nebraska Health and Human Services. Understanding of X-Ray patient care procedures and medical terminology required.
Current ARRT Registration or registry eligible
Current Nebraska Licensure in a Radiology related field
Basic Life Support (CPR)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as physician orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of patients or employees.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
