Job summary

CareNow is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our clinic team. You will perform radiographic views, maintain equipment, and support front desk operations to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and adherence to state licensure requirements. Additional certifications may be required within initial 30 days. This position may involve varying shifts and potential float to other CareNow locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting (preferred).
• ARRT Certification required; state licensure may be required.
• BLS, Breath Alcohol Screening, and Drug Screening certifications required within 30 days of start.
• Within 30 days of employment, may need to obtain and maintain state license (if required).

Responsibilities

• Perform all x-ray views according to provider’s orders and document the patient record.
• Assist front desk duties including greeting patients and check-in/out; end-of-day close out procedures.
• Maintain, calibrate and perform controls on lab/x-ray equipment daily; perform semi-annual X-Ray inspections.
• Maintain records and logs of in-house lab work, drug screens, x-rays, and lab work sent out to other labs; support audits.
• Follow infection control policies and hand hygiene; may work alternate shifts or float to other locations.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Radiology Tech, you will:

• Work with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receive high quality care and services. Provides care to patientsin a timely manner.
• Perform all x-ray views according to provider’s orders, clinical practice under statelawand in compliance with company policy and procedures. Document the patient record according toestablishedclinicalpracticeand company policies and procedures. Perform drug screens,urinalysisand other in-house lab tests accurately.Processspecimens for reference labs.
• Help support front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobbychecksand records release.
• Maintain,calibrateand perform controls on lab/x-ray equipment daily. Inspects andreportsartifacts from the x-ray screen. Operate equipment according to policy and manufacturer guidelines. Complete semi-annual X-Ray inspections.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, x-rays, and lab work sent out to other labs. Perform equipment audits as scheduled. Ensure the occupational client’s work form isfollowedand occupational procedures are adhered to.
• Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front DeskCoordinatorand all clinic staff tomaintainsmooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Follow all company policiespertaining toinfection control and hand hygiene.
• May berequiredto work alternate shifts and may berequiredto float to other clinic locations.

You Should Have:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Servicesrequired.
• 1+yearof clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Certificationrequired. State licensure may berequired.
• BLS certification within30 daysof startrequired.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within30 daysof start.
• Federal Drug Screening Certification within30 daysof start.
• Within30 daysof employment or promotion, must obtain andmaintainstatelicense (if required by the state) for OfficeLaboratory Assistant.
