UW Health's Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – X-ray position at University Hospital in Madison, WI offers day shift, 7:15am–3:45pm, with rotating Saturdays and holiday/standby rotation. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available, and compensation plus benefits are competitive.

The role performs a wide range of imaging exams for adults, geriatric, pediatric patients using radiographic equipment, troubleshoots issues, and may teach radiologic technology students.

Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – X-ray

Work Schedule

100% FTE position, day shift, Monday - Friday, 7:15am to 3:45pm, rotation of Saturdays every 5-6 weeks. Holiday and standby call rotation required.

Pay

UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay. This position will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. You may be eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – X-ray to:

• Perform a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers.
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred

Work Experience

• Previous healthcare experience Required
• 2 years of clinical experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• ARRT Radiography (R) certification Upon Hire Required
• Wisconsin Radiological License Upon Hire Required
• CPR certification within 3 months Required
