Qualifications

  • ARRT Radiography (R) certification required upon hire.
  • CPR certification within 3 months required.

Job description

Work Schedule:

90% FTE, day/evening shift. 3 x 12-hour shifts to cover 8:30AM – 9:00PM Wednesday/Thursday/Friday. Weekend, holiday and on call rotation included. You will work at UW Health West Towne Clinic in Madison, WI and may be eligible for up to a $4,500 sign-on bonus. Experienced and new grad rad techs are encouraged to apply. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:

  • External hires may be eligible for up to a $13,500 sign on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).
  • Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants.
  • The pay range listed reflects the Radiologic Technologist – Interventional role.
  • If working in a new grad rad tech role, prior to receiving license, pay will be lower than indicated.

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist X-ray / Rad Tech new grad to:

  • Performa wide variety of imaging examson adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groupsusinga wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers.
  • Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
  • Bring your knowledge to make quick and highly technical decisions to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology.
  • Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and participate in the instruction of other technologists and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred
Work Experience
  • Previous healthcare experience Required
  • 2 years of clinical experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • ARRT Radiography (R) certification Upon Hire Required
  • Wisconsin Radiological License within 3 months
  • CPR certification within 3 months Required
