Accounting Search seeks a contract X-ray Technologist to perform general radiographic exams for Rheumatology, Orthopedics and Spine patients in our Illinois facility. The role requires precise image quality, patient positioning, and adherence to radiologist standards while maintaining safety.

Responsibilities include scanning patients of all ages, adjusting protocols as needed, and collaborating with medical staff.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• Knowledge of radiographic procedures and safety.
• ARRT RT(R) certification and BLS required.

Seeking contract X-ray Technologist for general x-rays for Rheumatology, Ortho and Spine.

Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts

• ion exposure to patients, families, and co-workers.
• Positions patients and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist's standards in a safe, timely manner.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately [Required]
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility [Required]
• Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required]
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
• Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment [Required]
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Associate [Preferred]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ years experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Registered Technologist - Radiography RT(R) (ARRT) [Required]
• IEMA [Required]

Pay Range:

55-65hr
