Job summary

Sora Resource Group is seeking a contract X-ray Technologist to perform radiographic images across Rheumatology, Orthopedics, and Spine clinics in Illinois. You will position patients, adjust technical factors, and ensure image quality meets radiologist standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of radiography experience, CPR (BLS), and ARRT RT(R) certification, with strong English communication and teamwork. Clinic hours are 8-hour shifts Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• 1+ year radiology experience required.
• Reading/writing English proficiency required.
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and equipment and select technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist's standards.
• Perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.
• Ensure safety and timely image delivery.

Seeking contract X-ray Technologist for general x-rays for Rheumatology, Ortho and Spine.

Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts

• Positions patients and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist's standards in a safe, timely manner.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately [Required]
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility [Required]
• Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required]
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
• Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment [Required]
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Associate [Preferred]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ years experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

• IEMA [Required]

Pay Range:

55-65hr
