Job summary

RNInk in Lake Forest, IL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform general x‑rays for Rheumatology, Orthopedics and Spine. You will position patients, select technical factors and produce radiographs that meet Radiologist standards, with safe, timely delivery.

Qualifications include ARRT RT(R), BLS, High School Grad (Associate or Bachelor's preferred), 1+ year experience, and ability to use radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.

Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts

• ion exposure to patients, families, and co-workers.
• Positions patients and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist's standards in a safe, timely manner.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, methodology, equipment operation, and quality control to ensure that information is obtained and presented accurately [Required]
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility [Required]
• Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals [Required]
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry [Required]
• Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment [Required]
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Associate [Preferred]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ years experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Registered Technologist - Radiography RT(R) (ARRT) [Required]
• IEMA [Required]

Pay Range:

55-65hr
