Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care is seeking a licensed Radiologic Technologist to join our on-site team in Gaffney, SC. You will perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging, ensure proper patient positioning, and maintain accurate imaging records in the EMR system.

This role offers a 3-day/12-hour shift pattern (8 AM–8 PM) with no overnight shifts, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ARRT-approved radiologic technologist program.
• Current ARRT radiography credentials (R).
• South Carolina state certification and active BLS.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Proficiency with EMR, PACS, and basic computer apps.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging with correct patient positioning.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment with safety standards.
• Document procedures and manage imaging records in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with clinical team to support patient care and satisfaction.
• Assist with vital signs, triage, and basic patient care tasks as needed.

Competitive Pay & Sign-On Bonus:

• $27 - $32/hour, based on experience
• $1,000 sign-on bonus (Full-time candidates only)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high‑quality diagnostic X-ray imaging with proper patient positioning and radiation safety
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring accurate results and patient safety
• Document procedures and manage imaging records in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Collaborate with clinical team members to support optimal patient care and satisfaction

Required Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)-approved educational program
• Current ARRT credentials in Radiography (R)
• Certification in accordance with the state of South Carolina
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Excellent communication and patient service skills
• Proficiency in EMR, PACS, and basic computer applications
• Flexibility to work 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and rotating holidays
