Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care in Irmo, SC, is seeking a Licensed Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality X-ray imaging and patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

You will operate radiologic equipment, document procedures in the EMR, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure safety and patient satisfaction. The role requires ARRT credentials, SC certification, BLS, and weekend/holiday flexibility.

Qualifications

• ARRT-approved educational program completed.
• Current ARRT credentials in Radiography (R).
• Certification in the state of South Carolina.
• Active BLS Certification.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Proficiency in EMR, PACS, and basic computer applications.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging with proper patient positioning and radiation safety.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring accurate results and patient safety.
• Document procedures and manage imaging records in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with clinical team members to support patient care and satisfaction.
• Perform vital signs, triage, and assist with basic patient care tasks as needed.
• Support front office functions and ensure inventory and supplies are maintained.

Competitive Pay & Sign-On Bonus:

• $27 - $32/hour, based on experience
• $1,000 sign-on bonus (Full-time candidates only)

Key Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)-approved educational program
• Current ARRT credentials in Radiography (R)
• Certification in accordance with the state of South Carolina
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Excellent communication and patient service skills
• Proficiency in EMR, PACS, and basic computer applications
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and rotating holidays
