The Radiologic Technologist & Medical Support Specialist performs routine x-ray examinations in accordance with Concentra policies, practices, and procedures and applicable regulations under direct supervision of the treating clinician, as well as supports in other needed areas of the facility. This role requires efficient and accurate delivery of patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RT MSS ensures that every patient is treated with quality clinical care and receives an excellent patient experience from welcoming, respectful, and skillful colleagues.

Responsibilities

Radiologic Technologist Duties
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, assist with positioning, and explain procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
- Operate radiologic equipment, adjust controls, and take x-rays following established requirements and safety regulations.
- Use radiation safety measures and protection devices.
- Maintain and report on radiologic equipment condition.
- Follow documentation procedures and ensure proper record keeping.

Medical Assistant Duties
- Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and perform ancillary testing.
- Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
- Perform routine medical procedures, assist with injury care, and dispense medications as ordered.
- Maintain supplies, clean rooms, and operate medical devices.
- Manage patient flow, inform patients of wait times, and handle clerical tasks.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and attend training.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with applicable state certification.
- Certified by ARRT with active certification.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.

Experience & Skills
- At least six months of medical assistant experience.
- Knowledge of occupational medicine and healthcare procedures.
- Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information securely and comply with regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
