A leading healthcare provider seeks a Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Cincinnati. This role involves performing various radiographic procedures, maintaining equipment, and assisting patients. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in radiology, excellent patient care skills, and relevant certifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Takes radiographs per physician orders.
- Must be versatile within the diagnostic department of Radiology.
- Protects all patients and employees from unnecessary radiation.
- Has knowledge of front desk operations, computer systems, and reports all equipment problems to the manager and Clinical Engineers.
- Can schedule all exams through the department and alert a supervisor when necessary.
- Uses the centralized transport program for patient transportation.
- Looks up pertinent information in computer systems regarding patient exams, including ordering, reprinting, or canceling when necessary.
- Interacts professionally with other departments.
- Calls in needed on-call imaging associates as required.
- Reports equipment problems to clinical engineering via the 24-hour phone number; communicates messages to co-workers verbally or in writing.
- Alerts managers to equipment problems, paging during on-call periods if necessary.
- Remains available for assignments as needed.
- Assists Radiologic Technologist Students.
- Performs duties related to equipment quality assurance, regulatory compliance (ODH, Joint Commission), ordering supplies, scheduling staff, and departmental audits.
- Accesses patient records as part of normal operations for medical imaging purposes.
Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, isolation, and sterile techniques/procedures.
- Patient positioning and operation of x-ray machines and printers.

Duties: Performs routine radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable examinations in the diagnostic department of Radiology, on nursing units, outpatient areas, and the surgery department.
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7AM-4PM
No weekend or call.
Locations: Blue Ash, Montgomery, and Joint and Spine at the main hospital.
All days are full days; no travel between offices.
Some MA work, rooming patients, assisting with ultrasound procedures.
Required: C-arm experience
Preferred: experience with fluoroscopy
