Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Parkridge Medical Group Neurosurgery in Tennessee is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort. You will record patient information in the EHR, maintain equipment, and support colleagues in a fast-paced surgical setting.

The ideal candidate has an accredited x-ray program degree, ARRT certification, and state licensure, with added trauma experience.

Qualifications

• Must have degree from an accredited x-ray program.
• Two years training in an accredited school for Radiology Technology, basic x-ray experience, and trauma work is required.
• Must have a current ARRT and license in accordance to state regulations; Tennessee license required for radiologic services in a physician practice or clinic.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely radiology procedures for follow up evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
• Record patient information and maintain the EHR.
• Maintain patient comfort and adhere to proper safety procedures.
• Maintain and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and x-ray tech skills with support from outside resources.
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic/x-ray equipment.
• Assist with general patient care if needed.
• Honor and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values statements.

Full time (Monday - Friday, days), no nights, no on call, no weekends, no holidays

Seeking a Radiology Technologist/X-ray Technologist/ Rad Tech for our Parkridge Medical Group Neurosurgery practice who provides specialized expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:

• You will perform timely radiology procedures for follow up evaluation and treatment by attending physician
• You will properly record patient information and maintain EHR
• Maintain patient comfort and adhere to proper safety procedures
• Maintain and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and x-ray tech skills with support and assistance of outside educational resources
• You will perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic / x-ray equipment
• You may assist with general patient care if needed
• Honor and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values statements

What Qualifications you will need:
