Responsibilities

• Travel to perform portable x-rays in various settings
• Follow all policies and protocols during exams
• Determine technical factors based on patient needs
• Follow ALARA principles for radiation safety
• Prepare and transmit physician and patient orders
• Operate portable electronic imaging equipment
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operational
• Assist with administrative tasks and customer support
• Maintain vehicle and supplies
• Proficiency with digital x-ray technology and systems

Qualifications

• ARRT registration or state x-ray license
• Valid driver’s license with good record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk stairs with equipment
• Flexible schedule including evenings, holidays, weekends
