Job summary

Southeast Orthopedic Specialists is expanding - and we're searching for a Radiologic Technician (BMO) to bring their expertise and patient-first attitude to our Southside clinic. If you're passionate about delivering top-quality imaging and keeping patients safe, you will join a supportive team in a fast-paced clinic.

The role focuses on producing high-quality radiographs, maintaining EMRs, and ensuring correct PACS uploads while adhering to radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in urgent care or patient care setting preferred; EMR knowledge helpful.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic imaging practices, anatomy, radiographic safety, and equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a professional, friendly manner and explain procedures clearly.
• Produce high-quality radiographs to support accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain and update patient EMRs; provide copies of images upon request.
• Ensure images are uploaded correctly into PACS.
• Perform equipment checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance; arrange repairs when needed.
• Monitor radiation safety, protecting patients and staff at all times.
• Travel intermittently between clinic locations, as needed.
