Job summary

St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, NJ, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures per department protocol and regulatory guidelines. The role interfaces with patients to meet imaging needs and participates in quality control activities.

Responsibilities include image processing and transmission to PACS, with a night shift and full-time status. A NJDEP license and ARRT-R certification are required, plus JRCERT-accredited program graduation.

Qualifications

• Current NJDEP license is required.
• ARRT-R certification required.
• Familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program.
• At least one year of Radiology Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Qualifications

• Must have current NJDEP license.
• ARRT-R is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in RT).
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
