Responsibilities

• Supports patient preparation and completes registration documentation as needed; explains procedures clearly.
• Verifies physician orders and procedures for accuracy to support the provider.
• Independently operates radiology equipment and radiology information systems; administers contrast as needed.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission and performs quality control.
• Assists in departmental operations, including inventory, staff schedules, and equipment maintenance.
• Adapts communication style to diverse patient populations and preserves privacy.
• Performs other related duties as required.
