Qualifications

  • Graduate of a JCERT accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • CA Medical Radiographer license required at hire.
  • BLS/CPR certification through American Heart Association.
  • ARRT Registered Technologist Radiography.
  • Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Performs radiographic procedures with solid knowledge of anatomy, positioning and technical factors.
  • Ensures correct patient and clinical justification for each exam.
  • Maintains professional demeanor and triage requests as needed.
  • Coordinates workflow with colleagues to provide efficient patient care.
  • Complies with radiation safety, Joint Commission and all regulations.
  • Collects clinical information to ensure safe, accurate imaging.

JCERT accredited school of radiologic technology
CA Medical Radiographer license
ARRT Registered Technologist Radiography
CPR - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech CA certification (within 6 months)

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

  • Performs all radiographic procedures with a sound understanding of anatomy, physiology, positioning and technical factors to produce quality diagnostic images
  • Assures that the proper examination is performed on the correct patient, and understands the clinical reason the exam is being performed
  • Demonstrates professional demeanor and ability to triage multiple requests and asks for assistance when appropriate
  • Coordinates work flow with medical center co-workers in a cooperative and collaborative manner
  • Demonstrates awareness of radiation safety principles, Joint Commission requirements, and all applicable Federal, State and local regulations
  • Gathers appropriate clinical information for each examination, assuring that safe care is delivered
Job Requirements
Required
  • Graduate of a JCERT accredited school ofradiologic technology, upon hire and

  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and (Must be through the American Heart Association)
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire and
  • Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA, within 6 - months
Preferred
  • 1-3 years Two years of acute care experience, upon hire
