Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging at the North Pavilion location under the direction of Radiologist and Imaging Manager. You will support trauma teams and emergency services, deliver high-quality examinations, and uphold radiation safety and patient care standards in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires graduation from an ARRT-accredited Radiography program, ARRT or eligible registration within one year, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT-accredited Radiography program.
• One (1) year of general radiography experience preferred.
• Current ARRT registration or eligibility within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures at the North Pavilion location under the direction of a Radiologist and Imaging Manager.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic examinations in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Support trauma teams, emergency services, and multiple service lines with accurate imaging and timely communication.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements while delivering compassionate care.
• Be flexible to work at various Imaging locations and shifts to ensure adequate coverage.
