Job summary

Asante is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and contribute to diagnostic imaging. The role requires independent judgment and adherence to state regulations, with responsibilities including image quality evaluation and patient care.

This position is full-time, first shift, with a competitive hourly pay range and potential relocation assistance for external candidates. Licensure in Radiography (OBMI) and BLS certification are required on start.

Qualifications

• Licensure by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging with Radiography certification (or OBMI Temporary License)
• Permanent licensure must be obtained within 1 year of hire or prior to temporary license expiration
• BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start

Responsibilities

SalaryRange: $33.91 - $46.63

Shift Differentials:

• $1.96 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $4.25 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $1.82 extra for working weekends

All techs are highly trained, exceeding state requirements with advanced certifications in MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and bone density scanning. Our imaging program is supervised by a board-certified radiologist who works directly with techs at the hospital to interpret test results and offer guidance on complex cases.

TheRadiologic Technologistperforms various radiographic procedures used in diagnosis and treatment of disease, requiring independent and professional judgment. They also evaluate radiographs for quality and provide patient care and assume responsibility for designated assignments and perform related work as required. Duties are delegated in relation to the degree of training and in accordance with the policies of Asante and respective to state laws governing such action and activities.

What You Must Have/Obtain

• Licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with certification in Radiography (R) - OR - OBMI Temporary License in Radiography may be considered.
• Permanent licensure must be obtained within 1 year of hire or prior to temporary license expiration.
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start.
