Job summary

Angel Orthopedic Associates, part of a major healthcare system, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Franklin, North Carolina. The role involves performing both invasive and non-invasive radiographic procedures, utilizing sterile technique, and supporting physicians across a busy radiology department.

The ideal candidate is ARRT registered with a JRCERT-accredited education, has at least six months of multi-disciplinary radiology experience, and is capable of working with minimal supervision

Qualifications

  • Graduate of JRCERT accredited School of Radiography.
  • ARRT registered; CEU for recertification; BLS.
  • Minimum six months experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department.

Responsibilities

  • Perform invasive and non-invasive radiologic procedures across patient types.
  • Operate complex radiographic equipment with sterile technique as needed.
  • Maintain patient safety and assist physicians throughout procedures.
  • Work with minimal supervision and adapt to various diagnostic areas.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiologic Technologist is required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients. Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists are required to utilize sterile techniques, if necessary, operate complex radiographic equipment, and assist physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System. Continuing education, learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function without constant supervision to produce superior quality diagnostic radiographs. The technologist must be versatile in any given routine diagnostic area.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Required Education: Graduate of JRCERT accredited School of Radiography.
  • Required License: Must be ARRT registered. Completes requirements for CEU for re-certification. BLS
  • Required Experience: Minimum six months experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department. Approved experience gained through a clinical education program is acceptable.
