Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist position at Mission Health within Angel Orthopedic Associates involves performing a range of diagnostic radiologic procedures across the Mission Health System. The role requires sterile technique when needed, operation of sophisticated radiographic equipment, and assisting physicians to produce high-quality images.

Candidates should be graduates of a JRCERT-accredited program, ARRT-registered with CEU requirements, and hold BLS certification, with a minimum of six

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a JRCERT accredited school of radiography.
  • ARRT registration with CEU requirements for re-certification.
  • BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform invasive and non-invasive radiologic procedures on a variety of patients.
  • Utilize sterile techniques when necessary and operate complex radiographic equipment.
  • Assist physicians and work with the Mission Health System to produce high-quality radiographs.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Radiologic Technologist is required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients. Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists are required to utilize sterile techniques, if necessary, operate complex radiographic equipment, and assist physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System. Continuing education, learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function without constant supervision to produce superior quality diagnostic radiographs. The technologist must be versatile in any given routine diagnostic area.

Qualifications
  • Required Education: Graduate of JRCERT accredited School of Radiography.
  • Required License: Must be ARRT registered. Completes requirements for CEU for re-certification. BLS
  • Required Experience: Minimum six months experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department. Approved experience gained through a clinical education program is acceptable.
