Job summary

Corewell Health in Big Rapids, MI seeks a CT Technologist for weekend scheduling. You will perform CT imaging, prepare patients, and ensure safety and image quality to support diagnostic workflows.

Requires ARRT CT or related certifications, an associate degree or equivalent, and BLS. This part-time role offers weekend shifts with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Required associate’s degree or equivalent years of experience in related field.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) ARRT Upon Hire required.
• CRT-CT ARRT Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) ARRT Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist NMTCB Upon Hire required.
• BLS certification required or within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures and related imaging to assist diagnosis or treatment.
• Ensures patient care, safety, and comfort during procedures.
• Maintains equipment readiness and image quality per protocol.
• Acts as resource to radiology staff for complex issues.

Scope of work

CT Technologist provides healthcare services, applying computed tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues. Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.

• CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 2 Yrs required Or

• CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon Hire required Or
