• Document adverse occurrences and reactions on department forms and in the computer.
• Obtain informed consent and verify patient history.
• Monitor vital signs and perform limited physical examinations as appropriate.
• Explain procedures, risks, benefits, and alternatives to the patient.
• Administer contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed by the radiologist.
