• Documents adverse occurrences and reactions in department forms and computer systems.
• Obtains informed consent and ensures patient–radiologist communication.
• Determines if patient followed preparation instructions for exams.
• Assesses risk factors that may contraindicate procedures.
• Obtains and evaluates vital signs and records data.
• Presents findings to radiologist concisely and clearly.
• Reviews medical records to verify exam appropriateness and reports significant findings.
