Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT (R) registration and state licensure if required by law.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; schedule procedures.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment and exams.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed and monitor patient condition.
• Position patient and perform imaging; ensure image quality and troubleshoot issues.
• Enter and transmit images; work with radiology students if applicable.
