Job summary

UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital in Highlands Ranch, CO seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures in accordance with scope, policy, and mission. The role is onsite with no hybrid option and a pay range based on experience.

Responsibilities include scheduling, educating patients, performing imaging, QC, and communicating results. Requires ARRT registration and BLS/CPR certification. Career ladder and comprehensive rewards are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R) with applicable certifications.
• BLS or CPR certification through AHA or Red Cross before start date.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history, orders, and schedule imaging studies; educate patients on procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media or medications as allowed by scope; monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Prepare equipment and supplies; set exposure factors and imaging parameters; ensure safety and QC; troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Position patient and perform imaging procedures; analyze results and address image quality issues; transmit images.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Accredited Radiologic Technologist program

ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist (R)

BLS CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross)
