Job summary

CT State Community College in Manchester, CT, seeks an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator in Radiologic Technology for Fall 2027. The role is 10-month, tenure-track, full-time, teaching up to 30 credit hours annually across lecture, hybrid, and online formats on site at Great Path, Manchester.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s in radiologic technology, ARRT certification, and 3+ years clinical radiography experience; a master’s degree within 2 years is required for hire.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of clinical radiography experience.
  • Two years of teaching experience in a JRCERT accredited program.
  • ARRT certification and registration (or equivalent) in radiography.
  • Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and strong written/oral communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

  • Teach thirty (30) credit hours per academic year; deliver courses in lecture, hybrid, and online formats.
  • Develop syllabi, reading lists, and up-to-date course materials.
  • Provide student mentoring, advising, and support.
  • Participate in program reviews, accreditation activities, and curriculum development.
  • Coordinate with Clinical Instructors and manage program-related events and partnerships.
