Job summary

CT State Community College is seeking an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator to lead radiologic technology instruction on site at New Haven. You will teach courses, develop curricula, mentor students, and contribute to program development while coordinating part-time instructors and internships.

The position requires a radiologic technology bachelor’s, a master’s by date, ARRT certification, and a commitment to diverse students. Tenure-track, 10-month calendar, Spring 2027 start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic technology or related field; master's degree within 2 years to meet accreditation standards.
• Three or more years of clinical Radiographer experience.
• Two years of teaching experience in a JRCERT-accredited Rad Tech program.
• ARRT certification/registration in radiography.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach 30 credit hours per academic year across lecture, hybrid, and online formats.
• Develop syllabi, reading lists, and up-to-date instructional materials.
• Provide student mentoring, advising, and academic support.
• Assist with program reviews, accreditation activities, and partnerships.
• Coordinate with program coordinators on course scheduling and faculty evaluation.
