Job summary

Goodwin University seeks a Clinical Coordinator for its new Radiography program to oversee clinical education across five semesters. You will recruit and manage clinical sites, ensure JRCERT alignment, and supervise student supervision and evaluation.

The role may include teaching one clinical or didactic course per semester. You will collaborate with the Radiography Program Director to maintain standards, accreditation readiness, and strong partnerships with clinical sites in Connecticut.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required for the role.
• ARRT certification and registration in radiography are required.
• Eligible to obtain State of Connecticut radiographer licensure is required.
• Minimum of two years’ clinical experience in radiography.
• One year of teaching experience in a JRCERT-accredited program is preferred.
• Competent in using clinical competency tracking and clinical compliance tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee affiliation of clinical facilities to provide radiography rotations for all students.
• Manage medical documentation process for students participating in clinical internships.
• Coordinate clinical practice activities including facility use, rotation scheduling, orientation, and instructor support.
• Assist Radiography Program Director with assessment of clinical education and program.
• Assist with JRCERT Self-Study for initial accreditation of the program.
• Oversee scheduling and use of the onsite energized radiography lab for labs.
• Maintain current knowledge of JRCERT Standards and integrate into curriculum.
• Coordinate and supervise clinical education activities across settings.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with clinical sites ensuring compliance with standards.
• Develop and implement clinical evaluation tools to assess student performance.
• Perform other duties supporting the University’s mission and initiatives.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with safety practices.
