Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Diagnostic Radiology team member at the Grand Rapids site. You will coordinate and perform routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, including portable x-rays, while ensuring orders are followed and equipment is ready for use.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree or equivalent radiology experience, ARRT radiographer certification on hire, and BLS certification. This position supports a 12-hour weekly schedule during daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in radiology.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree.
• 2 years radiology experience required.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) ARRT required on hire.
• BD certification ARRT preferred; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Operate portable x-ray equipment and support surgery procedures as directed.
• Receive and ensure execution of physician orders.
• Ensure equipment is ready at start and end of shift.

About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of Work

Coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, and surgery procedures according to standards and practices. Receives and ensures the execution of physician orders. Ensures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.

Qualifications

• Required Associate’s Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree
• 2 years of relevant experience in radiology Required
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• CRT-Bone Densitometry (BD) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Bone Density Sites Upon Hire preferred
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
