Job summary

University Hospitals in Ohio is seeking a Radiographer PRN to deliver safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging and support physicians and care teams across patient ages. You will work with a range of radiology modalities while upholding patient comfort and privacy.

The role requires adherence to ALARA and safety standards, proficiency with x-ray equipment, PACS and RIS, and the ability to work independently to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R and RT:R licensure required upon hire.
• Previous Registered X-Ray Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital safety standards and ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely.
• Produces a variety of radiological procedures while maintaining patient care.
• Records billing codes in RIS and maintains patient privacy per HIPAA.
• Demonstrates competency in equipment QC and readiness per department SOPs.
• Able to instruct students and new staff after 1 year of experience.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
