Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging for patient care, operating radiologic equipment, and ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate will hold a NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS, with a focus on quality imaging, accurate records, and responsive patient communication within a busy hospital radiology department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license is required.
• ARRT Certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures following state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment; ensures safety and sanitation.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and answers questions.
• Maintains equipment and monitors patient comfort during procedures.
• Coordinates daily imaging procedures and identifies need for revisions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
