Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ, is seeking a Radiography Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure high-quality radiographs for diagnosis and treatment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS. You will maintain equipment, support patient comfort, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0−3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
