Job summary

Atlantic Health Hackettstown Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under the direction of the radiologist, producing high-quality images to assist diagnosis and treatment. You will maintain records and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging sessions.

Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides imaging and treatment processes per state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care/sanitation of equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety and patient comfort.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
