Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from AMA approved school.
  • ARRT certification/registration required.
  • State of Ohio licensure required.
  • Annual CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Performs and documents diagnostic radiographic examinations upon order of an approved healthcare provider.
  • Performs appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
  • Analyzes radiographic examinations for quality control purposes.
  • Prepares completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist.
  • Operates all radiographic equipment.
  • Operates all facility-based computer systems.
  • Administers oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of physician/per protocol.
  • Transports, moves and positions patients safely.
  • Assists physicians with special procedures involving the use of radiography.

Education

Associates degree in Radiologic Technology
ARRT certification

Pay Rate: $26.57-$43.76 hourly

Job Description
  • Performs and documents diagnostic radiographic examinations upon the order of an approved healthcare provider.

QualificationsJob Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required.
  • Maintains licensure requirements with the state of Ohio.
  • Annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count.

Medium Work:Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
