Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center is seeking a part-time radiologic technologist located at the River Valley Campus in Lancaster, OH. Responsibilities include performing and documenting diagnostic radiographic examinations under the direction of a healthcare provider and preparing examinations for the radiologist.

The candidate must have an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Other requirements include Ohio licensure and annual CPR certification.

Qualifications

Job Description

• Perform and document diagnostic radiographic examinations upon the order of an approved healthcare provider.
• Perform appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
• Analyze radiographic examinations for quality control purposes.
• Prepare completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Operate all radiographic equipment.
• Operate all facility-based computer systems.
• Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of physician/per protocol.
• Transport, move, and position patients in a safe and appropriate fashion.
• Assist physicians with special procedures involving the use of radiography.
• Participate in quality assurance activities as related to radiographic care within the Imaging Department.

Medium Work
