Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a part-time Radiographer to perform radiologic procedures under a Radiologist's direction. You will apply appropriate techniques, ensure patient safety, and support accurate diagnoses in a busy radiology setting.

The schedule is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on weekdays, with every other weekend rotation. A high school diploma or GED is required, and ARRT registration or eligibility must be achieved within 12 months of hire.

• Registered in Radiography with the ARRT or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 12 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures as ordered by physicians to evaluate pathological entities.
• Utilize independent judgment to determine appropriate radiographic techniques and positioning.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to established protocols and best practices.
• Maintain required hours of continuing education to stay current with industry standards.
• Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Job Title: Radiographer

Schedule:Part Time Days, 20 Hours Weekly. Weekday schedule from 7:00 AM t0 3:30 PM. Every other weekend rotation from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Role Overview: As a Radiographer, you play a critical role in patient care by performing radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. Your work directly supports physicians in evaluating pathological entities, contributing to accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. What You Will Need:

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 12 months of hire).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with digital radiography systems.
