Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, ensuring safety and accuracy per department protocols. You will determine appropriate techniques and positioning with independent judgment, maintain required continuing education hours, and hold ARRT registration or registry eligibility with BCLS certification.

This position is a day shift in our radiology department, contributing to high-quality patient care

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs Radiologic procedures for the evaluation of pathological entities as ordered by a physician. Performs related functions according to department protocols. Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.

Must maintain the required hours of continued education.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible.

If registry is eligible, registry must be obtained within 12 months of date of hire.

Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
