Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. You will determine techniques, positioning, and safety practices in line with department protocols.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, maintain continuing education hours, and be registered in Radiography with ARRT (or eligible within 12 months). Healthcare Provider BCLS certification is required.

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs Radiologic procedures for the evaluation of pathological entities as ordered by a physician. Performs related functions according to department protocols. Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Must maintain the required hours of continued education.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible. If registry is eligible, registry must be obtained within 12 months of date of hire. Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
