Henry Ford Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role requires adherence to department protocols, proper positioning, and strict safety practices.

Responsibilities include selecting appropriate techniques, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with ARRT and BCLS requirements. This position is based in Michigan and offers on-site work within a leading academic health system.

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs Radiologic procedures for the evaluation of pathological entities as ordered by a physician. Performs related functions according to department protocols. Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Must maintain the required hours of continued education.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible. If registry is eligible, registry must be obtained within 12 months of date of hire. Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
