You will support inspections, manifest data, and coordination with Waste Management, Radiation Protection, Engineering, and Operations.

The role requires associated certifications and the ability to work in field environments, with emphasis on documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Hazwoper 40-hour training is required.
• DOT Hazmat certification is required.
• Q Clearance or ability to obtain unescorted site access is required.

Aufgaben

• Has the capabilities to perform waste package certification activities per Waste Management procedures.
• Conducts inspections to verify compliance with WAC, waste profiles, and packaging requirements.
• Performs waste container inspections and documents condition and compliance.
• Supports waste characterization through review of loading records and data.
• Assists with waste manifest preparation, data entry, and verification of contents, weights, and inventories.
• Coordinates with Radiation Protection to obtain dose rate and survey information.
• Supports certification of radioactive waste packages for transportation and disposal.
• Verifies markings, labels, placards, blocking/bracing, and shipping documents meet DOT/site requirements.
• Interfaces with Waste Management, Radiation Protection, Engineering, Operations, disposal facilities, and transport providers.
