Captivation Software LLC in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a mid-level Radio Frequency Software Engineer 2 to develop DSP algorithms and high-throughput signal processing in C++/Linux/Python. Candidates must hold a Top Secret/SCI clearance and be a U.S.

citizen. Seven years DSP experience and a BS in Engineering/CS with DSP focus are required, with substitutions available for MS or additional DSP work experience.

Qualifications

Description

Captivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer who will be assisting with daily responsibilities.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Seven (7) years experience as a DSP Algorithm developer on projects with similar software processes.
• Seven (7) years experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development language
• May substitute two (2) years of experience with Masters of Science in Engineering or Computer Science
• May substitute four (4) years of additional DSP experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline in DSP algorithms from an accredited college or university is required

Required Skills:

• C++/Linux/Python/DSP Algorithms
• Design and implement DSP algorithms in software, with a focus on high-throughput exploitation of signals, low signal to noise ratio, higher-order, and/or adaptive modulations
• Conduct necessary modifications to existing software and/or firmware to adapt COTS and GOTS products to meet special Government needs
• Provide concise explanation of developed models to allow other team members to understand/utilize models or algorithms for processing signals of interest

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
