Qualifications

• B.S.E.E. with RF/Microwave focus; 4–7+ years RF engineering experience.

• Proficient with VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meter.
• HFSS, CST, ADS or equivalent simulation tools.
• Defense/aerospace background; AS9100/ITAR familiarity preferred.

• Produce test reports, procedures, and ECOs; mentor junior engineers and technicians.

RF Engineer (Antenna Design & Test) – Brockton, MA area

Our client, a growing designer and manufacturer of RF and microwave electronics for the defense and aerospace markets, is adding this new position to support its electronically steered antenna (ESA) initiative. AS9100 / ITAR environment. U.S. Citizenship required.

This is a hands-on role for an RF engineer with equal strength in design and test. You will own antenna and RF component design, characterization, and qualification, and help modernize test capability.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and improve antennas and RF/microwave components, including ESA / phased array architectures.
• Perform RF measurements: S-parameters, insertion loss, isolation, phase matching, VSWR.
• Develop test methods and support prototype qualification and production test.
• Lead root-cause investigations on RF performance issues.
• Work with mechanical engineering on packaging, thermal, and interface impacts to RF performance.

Compensation = $120,000 - $130,000 + with additional bonus potential and corporate benefits.
