  • Handle phone calls, intercom, paging system, two-way radio system.
  • Handle emergencies and alerts as needed.
  • Process call offs and logs all long-distance calls.
  • Monitor fire alarm systems and generator alarms.
  • Perform miscellaneous clerical and customer service duties.
  • Issue keys and visitor's badges.
  • Act as receptions.
  • Maintain visitor logs, maintain files and records.
  • Distribute newspapers.

What You’ll Do At DBH

This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 5 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule . Normal working hours are 1st shift (6:00am to 2:00pm), 2nd shift (2:00pm to 10:00pm), and 3rd shift (10:00pm to 6:00am) and may work weekends and holidays as needed. This position is located at our Northwest Ohio Behavioral Healthcare location, located at 930 South Detroit Avenue Toledo, Ohio 43614-2701 .

Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.

Position Qualifications

Formal education that includes reading, writing & speaking English.

OR

The equivalent of Minimum Class Qualification For Employment noted above.
